Adjustment Guide

Adjustment Guide
“Lunarto® isn’t just a pillow — it’s a fully adjustable comfort solution.”
Our customer
By adjusting the filling, you can create the right support for your:
- sleeping position
- body type
- mattress firmness
Lunarto® is designed to adapt to your needs — not the other way around.
Before You Start
Lunarto® is designed to feel supportive and structured, not overly fluffy or sink-in soft. That is intentional.
Your ideal setup depends on:
- your sleeping position
- your body weight
- your mattress firmness
- your personal comfort preferences
Give Your Body Time
If your pillow feels a little different at first, that can be completely normal.
After years of sleeping with poor support or misalignment, your neck and spine may need time to adapt to a healthier position.
Many people find a comfortable setup within the first few nights, but some need 2–4 weeks to fully adjust.
How to adjust your Lunarto pillow
- neck zone
- side zones
- centre / head zone
- the side zones slightly higher or lower
- the neck zone softer or firmer
- one zone different from the others
What to look for
Too high
Remove a little more filling.
Too low
Add a little more filling.
Helpful tip: If your partner is unsure how to judge spinal alignment, they can follow the line of your spine with their hand towards the neck and observe whether the movement stays straight.

How to know your setup is right
A good setup usually feels like this:
- your neck stays in a neutral position
- your head is not pushed too high or dropping too low
- your shoulders feel supported, not compressed
- your body feels more balanced on the mattress
- you wake up with less tension over time
If something feels off, adjust a little — not a lot — and test again.
Practical examples

I. Side Sleepers
Side Sleeper #1 (60–80 kg, firm mattress)
Remove 2–3 handfuls of filling, focusing on keeping the neck and side zones slightly higher. This provides comfort and alignment for your shoulders and neck.
Side Sleeper #2 (60–80 kg, soft mattress)
Remove 3–4 handfuls of filling, focusing on keeping the neck and side zones slightly higher. This provides comfort and alignment for your shoulders and neck, while accommodating the softer mattress.
Side Sleeper #3 (80–100 kg, firm mattress)
Remove 3–4 handfuls of filling, focusing on keeping the neck and side zones slightly higher. This provides comfort and alignment for your shoulders and neck.
Side Sleeper #4 (80–100 kg, soft mattress)
Remove 4–5 handfuls of filling, ensuring the neck and side zones remain higher than the head zone. This creates cradling support for your head and neck while accommodating the softer mattress.
Important: The heavier the sleeper and the softer the mattress, the more filling may need to be removed.
II. Back Sleepers
Back Sleeper #1 (60–80 kg, firm mattress)
Remove 3–4 handfuls of filling. Maintain higher support in the neck zone and keep the side zones slightly elevated for optimal alignment.
Back Sleeper #2 (60–80 kg, soft mattress)
Remove 4–5 handfuls of filling. Keep higher support in the neck zone and slightly elevate the side zones for proper alignment on a softer surface.
Back Sleeper #3 (80–100 kg, firm mattress)
Remove 5–6 handfuls of filling. Keep higher support in the neck zone and slightly elevate the side zones for optimal alignment.
Back Sleeper #4 (80–100 kg, soft mattress)
Remove 6–7 handfuls of filling. Keep higher support in the neck zone and slightly elevate the side zones for proper alignment on a softer surface.
III. Stomach Sleepers
Stomach Sleeper #1 (any weight, firm mattress)
Remove 5–6 handfuls of filling and keep all zones levelled evenly. This distributes pressure more evenly for comfortable stomach sleeping.
For even better comfort and support, you can personalise your Lunarto® pillow further by turning it vertically — placing the neck zone on top and lying directly on the head zone.
Stomach Sleeper #2 (any weight, soft mattress)
Remove 6–7 handfuls of filling and keep all zones levelled evenly. This distributes pressure more evenly for comfortable stomach sleeping.
For even better comfort and support, you can personalise your Lunarto® pillow further by turning it vertically — placing the neck zone on top and lying directly on the head zone.
How to reduce snoring
Adjust your pillow to provide proper neck support by following the adjustment guide. A more contoured setup helps keep your head, neck and spine in better alignment, which can open the airway and reduce snoring.
- keep the side zones slightly elevated
- stabilise the head and neck in a more optimal sleeping position
- keep the pillow a little higher, if needed
This can be especially helpful for snoring related to nasal congestion or sleep apnea.
Please note: There is no one-size-fits-all solution for snoring. The best setup depends on your individual needs and sleeping habits. You may need to experiment with different levels of adjustment before finding the one that works best for you.
